The Heart Behind The Stories
Some stories begin with words. Mine began with family, imagination, and the vibrant spirit of Puerto Rico.
Born in Fajardo and raised with deep roots in Guayaboto, Yabucoa, I grew up surrounded by the warmth of family, island traditions, and the simple moments that leave lasting memories. Those early experiences planted the seeds for the stories I tell today.
After moving to the United States with my mother and sister, my journey eventually led me to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I built a beautiful life with my husband, Hector. Together, we raised three wonderful children, and today our growing family—including our five grandchildren—continues to inspire every story I write.
Watching my children grow—and now seeing the world through the eyes of my grandchildren—has reminded me that childhood is filled with wonder. Their laughter and endless curiosity continue to inspire my imagination every day.
Through every story, I hope to inspire kindness, spark imagination, strengthen family bonds, and remind children that their dreams matter.
